Instructions
Roughly mash the lentils or beans. Place in a large bowl, mix in the bell pepper, onion, spices and turkey. (Optional: Add an egg to better hold the mix together).
Season with salt and pepper, form into 8 patties, spray pan with cooking oil
Cook patties over medium-high heat until dark brown on one side, then flip and do the same on the other side
Optional: top the patties with cheese, serve on toasted buns with lettuce, onion, tomato
