Taco Soup
On a cold day make this easy Taco Soup recipe in a slow cooker or on the stovetop.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef Or ground turkey
- 1 Onion
- 16 ounces Chili Beans
- 15 ounces Kidney Beans
- 15 ounces Corn No-salt added
- 16 ounces Tomato Sauce No-salt added
- 28 ounces Diced Tomatoes No-salt added
- 4 ounces Green Chili Pepper
- 1 cup Water
- 4 cups Beef Broth Low-sodium
- 2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning
Equipment
- Slow Cooker
- Medium Skillet
Instructions
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Put meat in a medium skillet. Wash hands after touching raw meats.
- Cook the meat over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.
- While the meat cooks, chop the onion.
- Place the ground cooked and drained meat, onion, chili beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, green chili peppers, beef broth and taco seasoning mix in a slow cooker. Mix to blend.
- Cook on low setting for eight hours.
