Sautéed Cabbage and Onion

This Sautéed Cabbage and Onion recipe is a simple, budget-friendly side dish packed with flavor. With cabbage, onion, and caraway seeds, it’s an easy way to enjoy more veggies.

Ingredients 

  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • cups Cabbage Sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Caraway Seeds

Equipment

  • Stovetop
  • Large Skillet

Instructions

  • Wash hands with soap and water.
  • Heat oil in a large sauté pan.
  • Sauté onion over medium heat, until light brown, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Add sliced cabbage, salt, black pepper, and caraway seeds.
  • Stir and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.
