How to Microwave Scrambled Eggs

If your kitchen is limited, you can easily make scrambled eggs in the microwave for a quick, protein-packed breakfast. This is a simple, efficient way to fuel your day with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients 

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk Low-fat or water
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste

Equipment

  • Microwave
  • Microwave Safe Dish

Instructions

  • Crack eggs into a microwave safe dish.
  • Whisk in water or milk, salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 30 seconds on high, stir, cook for an additional 30 seconds. If the eggs are still runny, continue to cook at 30 second intervals until the eggs are cooked through.

Notes

  • Add vegetables to your scrambled eggs! You can chop onions, peppers, broccoli, etc. in small portions and mix with eggs before cooking.
