Greek Turkey Meatballs with Tzatziki

Greek Turkey Meatballs with Tzatziki allows you to enjoy the delicious and healthy flavors of the Mediterranean. This recipe is really easy to make. Served up with a homemade tzatziki sauce, this meal is perfect for meal prep bowls or salads.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • ¼ Red Onion Chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs Or almond flour
  • ¼ cup Fresh Dill Chopped
  • ½ Tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Sheet
  • Large Mixing Bowl

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add ground turkey and minced garlic.
  • Grate ¼ red onion into turkey, alternatively chop red onion very small.
  • Add egg, breadcrumbs, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  • Form into 14 meatballs.
  • Heat sauce pan with olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add meatballs and cook for 7-8 minutes, turning every constantly to ensure even cooking on all sides. Once meatballs reach 165℉ they are fully cooked.
  • While meatballs are cooking, make Tzatziki Yogurt Sauce and Tomato, Cucumber, and Feta Salad.
  • Serve over rice!

Notes

  • Once your Greek turkey meatballs have been cooked, you can store them in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
