Fruit Snowflakes With Hot Cocoa Dip

Snowed in this winter? Get the kids in the kitchen and enjoying more produce by making these fruit snowflakes and hot cocoa dip together.

Ingredients 

For the Fruit Snowflakes:

  • Kiwi
  • Pineapple
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Mini Marshmallows

For the Hot Cocoa Dip:

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 packet Hot Chocolate Mix Single serve
  • Mini Marshmallows

Equipment

  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

For the Fruit Snowflakes:

  • Prep the fruit: Peel the kiwi and slice into rounds. Peel and slice pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Cut the strawberries in half, lengthwise. Rinse and pat the blueberries dry.
  • Assemble the snowflakes: Start by adding the blueberries, strawberries and mini marshmallows on to toothpicks. Insert about 4-6 of the berry/marshmallow toothpicks into the sides of the kiwi and/or pineapple slices.

For the Hot Cocoa Dip:

  • Combine Greek yogurt and hot chocolate mix in a bowl. Stir well to combine.
  • Top the dip with mini marshmallows and serve with the assembled fruit snowflakes.
