Baked Acorn Squash and Apples
This warm, sweet and savory dish is a must try!
Ingredients
- 1 Acorn Squash
- 2 Apples
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Butter Or margarine; melted
- ½ Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Equipment
- Oven
- Baking Pan
- Medium Bowl
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix together chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
- Cut squash in half and scoop out seeds.
- Place squash cut side down and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove squash from oven, turn squash right side up, and fill each half with apple mixture.
- Bake for another 20 minutes, or until squash is tender.
