Applesauce

Ingredients 

  • 5 Apples 4 to 5 apples depending on size
  • ¾ cup Water
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Equipment

  • Large Saucepan with Lid
  • Potato Masher or Hand Mixer

Instructions

  • Peel apples and cut away from core (for added texture and fiber, leave skins on). Chop into small chunks. Combine with water in a saucepan, place lid on saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, add cinnamon, mash to preferred consistency with potato masher or hand mixer.
  • Let cool, and serve. Applesauce will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks, or in the freezer for 2 months.
