Ingredients
- 5 Apples 4 to 5 apples depending on size
- ¾ cup Water
- ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Equipment
- Large Saucepan with Lid
- Potato Masher or Hand Mixer
Instructions
- Peel apples and cut away from core (for added texture and fiber, leave skins on). Chop into small chunks. Combine with water in a saucepan, place lid on saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, add cinnamon, mash to preferred consistency with potato masher or hand mixer.
- Let cool, and serve. Applesauce will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks, or in the freezer for 2 months.
