Roasted Root Fries

Ingredients 

  • 2 Parsnips
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Turnips
  • 1 Sweet Potato Large
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Vegetable Peeler
  • Baking Pan
  • Mixing Bowl

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Cut vegetables into match sticks and place in a single layer on baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle vegetables with salt and let them sit for 5-10 minutes.
  • Pat dry.
  • Toss with cumin, paprika, and olive oil, roast in a single layer on baking sheet until crisp and tender, about 20 minutes.
