Sautéed Cabbage

Ingredients 

  • 1 head White Cabbage Small, about 2½ pounds
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter Unsalted
  • teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Equipment

  • Stovetop
  • Large Sauté Pan

Instructions

  • Cut the cabbage in half then slice as thinly as possible around the core, as though you were making coleslaw. Discard core.
  • Melt butter in large sauté pan.
  • Add cabbage, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and begins to brown.
  • Season to taste and serve warm.
